Art Inspiration

What better reason to create than to generate funds that gives back to the community. A quarter of the profits from all my art work will go back into my local community. As my selection of products grows I will include further information on where funds from different pieces are allocated back into the community I live in. For reference I am located in the Fraser Valley, BC. My current product the “Fairy Cats Colouring Book” generates some proceeds that go back to the Fraser Valley Humane Society. You can read more on this in the “Colouring Book Project” tab.

My typical Colour patterns are inspired by nature. Incorporating a range of autumn and muted tones. My preferred subjects include florals elements, animals, people, anything renaissance or celestial and the list of course grows. I am anti AI art and I don’t work on subject matters that are NSFW.

My primary focus remains around ensuring there is an adequate level of contrast in images to make them dynamic and visually pleasing. Drawing from my time in tattooing contrast is imperative in considering the longevity of a tattoo, Playing around with different themes, line weights and imaginative elements helps me grow outside my bubble and continue to evolve my artistic expression.

I love creating pieces that draw from baroque and art nouveau styles. Focusing on pairing whimsical subjects and details that are eye catching and dynamic.
